Disable autonomous self-healing for SRDF/A

Autonomous self-healing for SRDF/A removes the need for manual intervention when SRDF/A drops due to cache limitations due to a temporary increase in workload or a decrease in SRDF throughput.

Prerequisites

Both R1 and R2 arrays are running PowerMaxOS 10.2.0.0.

About this task

To disable autonomous self-healing for SRDF/A:

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select DATA PROTECTION > SRDF Groups to open the SRDF groups list view.
  3. Select an SRDF/A group and click Modify.
    The Modify SRDF Group window is displayed.
  4. Select Advanced Options.
    The Advanced Options window is displayed.
  5. Clear the SRDF/A Auto Recovery Configured checkbox for the local and remote arrays. When this feature is disabled, the dropped SRDF/A session does not automatically resume.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • Click Run Now to perform the operation now.
    • Expand Run Now and click Add to Job List to add this task to the job list, from which you can schedule or run the task at your convenience. For more information, see Schedule jobs and Preview jobs.
